The business problem
A loan application process was slow and difficult to follow for both applicants and the operations team handling the requests.
Objective
Model the current process, define a future digital application experience and produce a requirements package a delivery team could act on.
Analysis
- Modelled the AS-IS loan application process end to end.
- Defined stakeholders, responsibilities and decision points using RACI.
- Identified the gaps between the current experience and the intended future state.
- Modelled the TO-BE process and derived requirements from it.
Requirements work
- Wrote user stories against the future-state process.
- Defined acceptance criteria for each story.
- Supported prototype development to test the proposed flow.
Outcome
A structured future-state concept and requirements package were produced. This is a portfolio project: it was not deployed to a production environment and no business results are claimed.
Business value
Demonstrates end-to-end process work — from current-state modelling through to testable acceptance criteria.
